Home again
I just wanted to let everyone know who has been keeping up with the blog and our trip to Florida that we all got home safe yesterday!!! YAY AND Kym and the crew got to ride in a limo home!! :-) She just loved that!!! Well back to school/reality today hehe!! :-)

Kym's Final Thoughts
I am excited to go back and tell everyone about about the once in a lifetime opportunity I was able to experience!!!
For the rest of my life I will always be thanking God for this trip and be remembering the blessings He poured out on us through it!
Kym is sooo pumped that her dream has finally been fufilled!!!!
Pray for safe travels for all of us tomorrow!!!!

Day #7 The Last Day :-(
Well Today we ate a late lunch after doing a lil sleeping in due to our late night rockin' out to Mercy Me!!! Then wandered around the area looking at the different All Star Resorts....we are staying in the All Star Music...but there is also a sports and movies! By this time it was getting into the afternoon so Kymmie and her Dad went back to the room to relax, Mom took a nap, Tiffany, Brian and Caleb also rested...and Joe and I went off to Blizard Beach!!!
Later in the afternoon Kymmie, her Dad, Tiffany, Brian and Caleb all hung around the pool. They said they had a great time, it was refreshing!! (fyi it was at least 90 degrees out) The cool thing around the pool....besides the water is that they have different events throughout the day, for example tossing around a large beach ball, dance parties and so on.
Meanwhile Joe and I were cooling down on the slopes at Blizard Beach!! hehe The rides were pretty sweeet there!! I think one of the most fun parts was watching ppl go down the Summit Plummet (most ppl went down it going 50mph!)
Tonight at Night of Joy we saw RED!! THEY ROCKED, and were LOAD (which Kymmie liked), she says it was a new style that she had never heard Christian songs being sung that way! Next was Casting Crowns!! Wow some amazing worship for sure!! Kym says they sung some of her favorite songs such as: East to West, and What if his People prayed; she also says she heard some new songs by them that could be some of my future favorites!!!
Kym says she has now seen 3 of her top 4 favorite groups!!!! The only one she has left now from that list is Third Day!
SideNote: It was amazing when this man came up to us and said he noticed that we were from Make a Wish (we were wearing our shirts) and wanted to know if Kym wanted to move closer telling us that they had extra seats near them....then asked us about her, hugged her and said he would be praying for her and that he was a cancer survior and works with Make a Wish frequently...I thought that was just a beautiful way for God to use one of his children to bless another :-)

Night of Joy Part 1
After meeting Mercy Me we came back to the resort, quickly wrote EVERYTHING down and rested! Then we set off back to Hollywood Studios for the concerts at 6pm! Then we made our way through the part to the Stage where all the artists we wanted to see were playing at!! First up was Brandon Heath! HE ROCKED!! (Kym says she liked him) Then Chris Tomlin came on and we stayed for BOTH of his concerts b/c there were TOO many ppl around to go to another stage! Then at 11:15pm MERCY ME came on to ROCK the stage!!! Kym says she couldn't believe she was finally seeing them in concert!!! We stayed out late, and Kym loved it!!!!

Day #5 and #6
Day 5 Family Arrives/Universal Studios:
Today Tiffany, Brian and Caleb came from GA!! It is so great having them here, Kym is so excited to have her sis, brother-in-law and nephew here to share in her dream! We went to Universal Studios for the afternoon. For lunch we ate at Hardrock Cafe and then went into Island of Adventures at Universal! We rode on a water ride that soaked us to the bone!!! haha
Day 6 Meeting Mercy Me!!
From Kymmie: At first when they were talking to me I couldn't believe it was them, then it finally hit me! Then they told me all of thier names and what important role they played in the group, and I thought it was cool. Woa it finally hit me to hear all of their voices talking around me, I realized I was in the backstage area for the 6 guys from Mercy Me. I told them I knew all the words to all the songs, except for the songs they haven't written yet, and the guys said Bart always screws up the lyrics; so they gave me permission to let him know when he messes up the lyrics tonight! . Dad called Bart... Baaaht (there is no r in his name anymore), and we introduced them to the Maine accent. Then Dad said when it started raining that it was like yesterday when we were on the ride at Universal Studios and I said, no its not, because Bart wasn't there. They offered to sign my frame, and two t-shirts writting their names and what their role is in the band. We talked about my brain, how my music memory was not effected in the accident and that I have a great music memory, and then Bart said I need to keep working on my Mercy Me lobe! haha Standing there right before we said goodbye I couldn't believe that I had just hung around Mercy Me and fulfilled my dream!! God made it so much more than I expected!!! They were all very down to earth people and spent a lot of time with us, and took the extra time to meet each one of the people that came with me (Mom, Dad, Joe, Tiff, Brian, Caleb, and Mandy). It was very evident that God was with us in this meeting. Walking away I was realizing what just happened and thought of how amazing it was!
Well gotta jet, computer is dying!!! Concert is tonight and we are all soooo pumped!!!

Day #4
As promised here are some pics!!
Well today was moving day! We had to be out of the Ramada Inn by 11am, so we did laundry and packed and all that jazz...sadly we had to say goodbye to Aunt Deb and Bek, but it was so wonderful of them to hang out with us a few days and it was sooo great to see them!!! :-) So then it was time to wander hehe. We hit up Target, and CVS for pic developing, and then Olive Garden for lunch!! Oh and we started doing a detailed journal for Kym ....we didn't get too far though with lots of distractions and extensive detail! Then it was exciting to finally enter the Disney complex/monstrocity hehe!! We checked in and found our way (aka we got lost along the way haha...like I said this place is big haha) to Calipso (our building) in the All Star Disney Resort. After unloading we wandered around familiarizing ourselves and Joe and Kym went head to head on the dual boths of the Nascar Video Game. In this game the seats moved and the stearing wheel had resistance determined by what was going on on the track, Kymmie LOVED it...she said this is soooo coool!!! The afternoon was just filled with relaxation galor!! YAY Tomorrow is a big day! Tiff, Brian and Caleb are flying in and we are going to a theme park, yet to be decided....
From Kymmie: Yea buddy! Excited to start my wish and move in to Disney. I want my own Nascar Video Game, it was cool to try something new that I can do on my own....aka lets set it up in Dad's living room....put it where the TV is...haha. I got to finally figure out I can do stuff by myself aka find my way to the door to let Dad in when he had locked himself out, haha, I will always remember that.

Make a Wish Days 2 & 3
Sorry I didnt blog yesterday but I was enroute to FL!
Day 2: Sea World
Yesterday the gang went to Sea World and Kym was able to get close to the dolphins in the feeding tank. The trainer explained to Kym about the dolphin and let her pat his belly, I think she got even touch his belly button!!! (from kym: I like the sound the dolphins make when they laugh!) They feed sting rays, once they finally found their mouths (they didnt know their mouths are on the bottom hehe). Well Monday was a fabulous kick off day, full of sunshine! Oh and I heard they wrapped it up with a LARGE Steak Dinner!! NICE!! Hehehe
Day 3: Discovery Cove
Today was in a nut shell amazing! As Joe put it, we serve an awesome GOD! Everything went as perfect as possible today! The sun was shinning the wind was softly blowing and we were all so pumped! Kym and Bekah swam with the dolphins at 10:30. They were in a group of 8 and the instructor had the dolphin swim by them all and Mom guided Kym to touch Akai (the dolphins name). Then each of them went out to and kissed the dolphin (soooo CUTE!!!), then bekah and kym were able to go out together and pat Akai's belly as he flipped his fins! Then each of them were able to hang on tight to the top fin and ride the dolphin!!! Sooo amazing to see!! Kym had a fascinated, focused, excited look on her face and bek was soooo happy :-)! Then we ate lunch, yum yum and floated down the lazy river!!! ohhh man did we ever love that!!! Rest and Relaxation!!!!! The after a few rounds of that we went and hung out with the sting rays! wicked coool!!! The were kinda scary just b/c I have never been in a pool with Sting Rays, but they feel wicked cool (Kym just loved to feel them!!!). Then we went over to the coral reef area and snorkeled around that area seeing all sorts of tropical fish and more types of sting rays, some sit on the bottom and blend in covered with sand! Oh man I love sea creatures! Then we went to the aviary, were Kym just lit up listening to the sounds of the birds and searching for the birds in her field of vision! You hold the cup of fruit and the birds will land right on your arm and eat from the cup! There were three parts with all different types of birds!!! We wrapped up the day with one last float down the lazy river.....ahhhhh relaxation!!! Well we are all so pooped and water logged hehehe. We all had amazing days and it sooo fabulous to be able to see Aunt Deb and Bek while we are here!!!! :-) They are also soo excited to have family in FL!!! Well g'night all!! Much love!
From Kym concerning Discovery Cove: The day was awesome and amazing! Feels nice to finally have accomplished one of my dreams. I liked the sting rays too, and doing something I never new I could do (aka touching a sting ray...one came up and kept wanting us to pat it...he was kinda begging for attention hehe). Today is the day I will always cherish!

Make A Wish Trip Day #1
Well the family got to FL safe today...I am still up in RI unpacking and such until tomorrow when I join them in FL. I heard that Make a Wish picked them up in a black stretch Limo!!! Kym was sooo excited and wanted to ride in that all the way down, hehe. Plane trip went well and they were able to relax when they got settled into the hotel, yay for relaxation. So tomorrow its a play it by ear based on weather. PRAY for fabulous weather, none of this rain stuff!!! I will be trying to blog every night to keep you all up to date on our adventures! good night :-)
End of Summer and On to a new adventure!
Well now that summer has ended I suppose I will start to blog again lol. My last weekend in Maine I was reminded that my family really could have its own sitcom... I mean how many families are dying laughing while at the ER?? From the famous sayings of Hal to Uncle Gary and Dad ganging up on us to Grammy leaving her hearing aid at home and not being able to hear anything around her!
